Ultimate Frisbee – Grades 6-8

Students from all schools welcome!

Ultimate Frisbee is for everyone! It’s inclusive, fun, and players referee the games.

Never played before? Jump in! Want to improve your skills? Come work on your technique!

 

DATES:

• March 1— April 21: Practice: Skills, drills & scrimmage (at Hyla’s middle school campus) 
• April 22-23: Spring Reign Tournament, Burlington, WA

COACHES: Cooper Rooks, David Maron, High school student assistants

COST: $150, Includes t-shirt, practice & tournament. Financial assistance available: We want you to join! Email us for help with cost (davidm@hylaschool.org).

GEAR: Water bottle; soccer or lacrosse cleats, comfortable clothes for all weather, rain jacket.

REQUIREMENT: Come to 2 out of 3 practices each week, even when it’s raining.

REGISTER: Email Coach David by February 17 (davidm@hylaschool.org). If you see this after Feb 17, send us an email and we’d love to fit you in.

A Hyla Tradition: If you’re new to Ultimate Frisbee, you might ask “where’s the ref?” The answer is: everywhere. That’s because every person on the field is their own referee who trusts every other player to also be their own referee.
